Confirmation
"Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds." (Catechism, 1316)
Confirmation for Youth
The Confirmation program at St. James is designed to help our youth come to a deeper understanding of how the Holy Spirit works in our lives and in the life of the Church, and to a deeper appreciation of how being open to the presence and action of the Holy Spirit in our lives can draw us into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
